CR-Urumqi has consistently prioritized the safe and stable operation of the CRE and the smooth operation of border ports. CR-Urumqi has worked to enhance port capacity and comprehensively improve the services to support the Western Corridor of the CRE trains, resulting in steady growth in both cargo throughput and the number of trains passing through. In the first ten months of this year, the Alataw Pass and Horgos Port achieved average daily operations of 21 and 22 CRE trains respectively. The number of CRE trains passing through both border stations each month has remained above 600, reaching the 6,000-train milestone 20 days earlier than last year.
