On November 2, the main arch of the Taohe Bridge on the Lanzhou-Hezuo Railway was successfully completed, marking the largest railway steel-reinforced concrete arch bridge in the northwest region. This milestone paves the way for the full connectivity of the Lanzhou-Hezuo Railway. Once operational, the Lanzhou-Hezuo Railway will end the history of no railway access for the Gansu regions of Linxia and Gannan, integrating them into the "one-hour economic circle" of Lanzhou. Furthermore, the Lanzhou-Hezuo Railway will connect with the Xining-Chengdu Railway, forming a fast transportation corridor between the northwest and southwest regions. This will play a crucial role in improving the regional rail network, enhancing local transportation infrastructure, and promoting the high-quality economic and social development of the areas along the route.
