On November 6, around 11:00 AM, with the sound of a loud whistle, a train carrying 45 sets of containerized auto parts slowly departed from the Wusu Railway Freight Yard in Tacheng, Xinjiang. This marks the successful debut of the CRE (Central Asia) train from Wusu, Xinjiang to Almaty, Kazakhstan. The train will exit China via the Alataw Pass and eventually arrive in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This new addition to the "steel camel caravan" further strengthens the logistics network of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt.

Historically, Wusu has been an important trade hub between the East and West. As a key station on the ancient Silk Road, it has witnessed bustling trade and business exchanges. Today, taking advantage of the policy advantages of the key Development and Opening Experimental Zone in Tacheng, Xinjiang coupled with its strategic location in northern Xinjiang, Wusu Railway Station was officially included in the scheduled CRE (Central Asia) train routes as a starting station in September this year, capitalizing on its logistics distribution potential.

It is reported that four trains will depart from Wusu Railway Station this month, each transporting goods to Europe and Central Asia through the Alataw Pass and Horgos Port. These trains will provide an efficient and convenient international logistics channel for Wusu and the surrounding areas, transporting local agricultural products, industrial goods and more. Additionally, high-quality products from Europe and Central Asia will have easier access to Xinjiang and national markets.
