Major Logistics Driving Greater Openness: Economic Daily
The Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park serves as the departure point for China's first CRE train and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor rail-sea intermodal train, as well as a key location for Chongqing's land-port national logistics hub. “To date, over 2,540 international trains have been launched, with a cargo value exceeding 59 billion yuan, connecting 538 ports across 125 countries and regions, thus forming a global channel network.”
Chongqing stands as China's only city that serves as a national logistics hub with all five types: port, land-port, airport, production service and trade service. In recent years, the city has accelerated the development of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, creating a major pathway, hub, port, logistics center and platform for external connectivity, transforming from an inland region to a frontier of openness.
