Xinjiang Border Crossings and Cross-Border Transport Hit Record Highs in the First Three Quarters: Guangming Daily

     According to the Xinjiang Exit-Entry Border Inspection General Station, border crossings and cross-border transport through Xinjiang's ports have continued to grow over the first three quarters of this year, reaching historic highs. Immigration officers have served 2.356 million people entering and exiting, as well as over 945,000 vehicles, trains and flights. Additionally, 448,000 people entered Xinjiang visa-free, reflecting year-on-year increases of 104.5%, 57.1%, and 425.9%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2023.
